Workshops

Annual state-of-the-art workshops bring together PhD students, external researchers, and faculty members. The program actively encourages PhD students to publish their work, and the different formats (workshops, lecture series, seminars) serve to develop a series of publications from participating faculty, PhD students, and external faculty and students in the framework of the CEES book series (with Routledge), as well as in peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, researchers are able to contribute to the center’s existing blogs: a BiEPAG policy blog, a research blog (Globalising Southeast Europe), and a peer-reviewed journal (Contemporary Southeastern Europe), all in English, and a blog on Europeanization with the Austrian daily Der Standard (SüdostEuropäisierung), in German.
